I dunno man, when the community complains something into existence (Hecate Essence) i think its kind of obvious that it shouldn’t be and likely isn’t canon.

no canonically you can’t change your magic on a whim the magic/variation of the magic you are born with depends on your personality so for example someone with a darker personality but maybe good intentions will get the moonlight variant of light magic or maybe someone who is radiant and overpowering (as in like personality wise) will get the sunlight variant or someone who is well… nice ig
