The parry is your fastest way to recover mana in combat, while the dodge is much easier, the parry gets you more payoff.
These more defining traits are rarer upgrades, mythical and legendary ones.
Thereâs also rare relics you can find in chests and breakables that can change major parts of how you play. (for example, I found one that gave me healing when I heal allies and hyperarmor while casting healing abilities)
Thereâs also the metaprogression which, from what I can tell, since I havenât interacted with it yet, are pretty substantial upgrades.
Sometimes you can find an Obelisk of Desire in a pink portal in your runs, itâll let you really focus in on what you want your build to be for a while, but Iâm not sure it works right now.
(In testing it gave me NOTHING but the upgrade type I was looking for through several dungeons before wearing off, now I used 3 of them for shadow upgrades and got 0 shadow upgrades)
oh right the game closes on Thursday but you can get tester access through wave events in their discord server.
yea no wonder youâre having a tough time you never picked up a weapon.
I literally havenât played the game with a party yet lol, solo progression is fine.
You can select a weapon in character customization aswell as a starting ability.
Challenge modes.
What do you think being able to select multiple sins is for, let alone abomination lol.

On one hand, I usually hate red herrings. On the other, they were called untrained fists and there was an ability that disarmed people, so I personally figured that they probably werenât that great.
In any case, I do agree with most of your criticisms. This game does have glaring design flaws, which should be addressed before any âupgradingâ takes place.

Absolvement is a very cool game! I had some fun testing the game back when it was basically CC, so I might hop back on to see whatâs new

You donât unequip skills, once your hotbar maxes out, if you try to grab a new skill it asks you which one you want to remove for it.
Its still there if you ever pick the skill back up.
Dunno why youâd remove a skill youâve heavily invested in though.
You could use the fountain random event to turn those upgrades into other upgrades.
I dont have the game link right now, but âvisionary squadâ might be worth checking out.
Its a mix of tower defense and fps where you play in a group of players where one plays as the âvisionaryâ controlling things while the other players play as the towers in the form of specific units each with their own playstyle.
It can take a little while to get used to but Iâd say the gameplay is good.
