Warcraft III is another game made by Blizzard Entertainment (the company that made Starcraft, Hearthstone, WoW and other stuff) - and is a strategy real-time based game which (mostly) takes place on the Azeroth, you can count it as a planet or just a cluster of continents like Northrend, Lordaeron and etc.
Itās full of magic and is basically in medieval age
In the game there are 4 MAIN races, those being:
Human - no explanation needed
Orc - Grumpy race that was corrupted by The Fel
Undead - uhm dead ppl (my favourite race)
And Night Elves
I wonāt spoiler much but just saying that this game requires super brain power to play, you can try going into Warcraft III Reforged but you wonāt get the same atmosphere you would get by playing the old and original versions, those being Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, so perhaps play those two first before playing Reforged
And yes those games are old as fuck, so dont expect mega improved graphics from them, BUT hey, Warcraft III is REALLY balanced, like thereās no unbalanced characters or stuff at all, enjoy it as much as you want, if you lose - its skill issue lmao
