Tip of building of the day:
Always use raised terrain, ALWAYS. for the value of one structure you get the value of 2 terrain block combine. With this you can make your base size large as twice than using the ground surface. This also make your base higher which provide better range for your defenses. Of course you will be suffered when there is no snap for the raised terrain but you can let those get close by turn off the grid mode and make terrain clipping a bit inside each other is fine.
That is how I used for all of my clan bases
Fun fact about this, after the empire update just dropped, Ierochos was our clan base I spent 400k just for this. After a while, I decided to return to this island and make it into a fort which is much better and bring back nostalgia

Ierochos is the best looking one here for me, the rest are lacking something though I guess it’s because we lack props to fill the gaps in large islands. Regardless, the builds looks amazing!
