Maybe we need someone to get studio perms to AO and do the simple value changes, balancing would go way faster
i can understand it being rare, given the ramifications of changing the first magic you were born with as well as the fact you’re probably not gonna change it very often (me and a friend have been going for it every so often since he wants magma over explosive, but outside of that i don’t really have interest) i actually like the idea of going on a big journey to more or less change your very being
i think it needing to be super close to see is an issue since it’s already super hard to find on massive islands, but something like a message telling you it’s on the island you’re searching feels too easy, it should be difficult to do
i’m still trying to gain familiarity with how roblox’s engine works, but to make it render at the same time as the island itself and have the same properties of being visible at a fair range would be beneficial (but again i wouldn’t know for sure how to go about that)
the atlanteans attacking you thing doesn’t seem like a big issue, at that range you’re typically trying to avoid them if they’re too strong or you roll with it and kill it (i can’t really think of an instance where an npc enemy jumps you without your knowing, you always have the initiative)
overall i feel like people are way overexaggerating the design of hecate’s essence, it’s such a small aspect of the game that afaik you’d really only use once every [long period of time]. it’s def got issues but at least you have the ability to change your first magic now, it’d be better to focus on more glaring issues of the game

by some people, like half of you supported me tho 
maybe make it so you can sense it? but then that wont be out till full release. either way, doesnt make a difference to me since i already got one
