you dont understand, changing a number in a variable requires too much dev time and would require vetex to re-write the entire story

And you know whats funny? Full release will drop and there will be a patch note stating “hecate essence drop increased to 1/8” meaning you have to spend 5 hours in the dark sea instead of 7

At least a small rate buff would better than nothing, I can do a lot with those two free hours

It’s to extract as much money from premium payouts and playtime as possible without being to blatant to the naked eye. AO’s endgame is literally built with profit first in mind and making it not “Give Me Your Mom’s Credit Card For Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Greatsword” seems to be enough for a person with slightly higher standards to not take notice. The guy has to profit off of premium payouts with a free game with barely any monetization.

To be fair he does get most of his money from patreon i feel (i estimate like 2-3k a month) so yeah i dont think he gets all that much from the game itself

Reasonable ngl. It’s honestly a healthy thing to stop playing a game that isn’t meeting your standards in a major way like this. I’ve done the same with Deepwoken (though I still enjoy moderaring it).
