(Ho boi controversy time) Did Dream really cheat in his speedruns?

i’ve watched the videos discussing it, 1 in 7.5 trillion odds is goddamn insane, but I’m still not too sure on a 100% conclusion

i sorta lean towards the idea that he did do something suspicious

I dnc but am leaning towards him cheating because of those odds.

Dream has a six page response to this but the odds still total 1 in 40billionish.

didn’t it literally happen on stream? lmfao

Anyone can manipulate odds while showing it on stream bruv, legit multiple speed runners have faked runs on stream.

does he cheat?
almost definitely

do we have solid evidence?
no

Yes we do

Add Dragon’s thing as an option because probability is circumstantial but I’m still inclined to believe there was cheating.

Not really other than the pearl and blaze rod odds according to Dream being 1 in 40 Billion and 1 in 35 trillion or something from the other guy. Odds of something happening isn’t solid evidence but still makes me believe there was cheating.

I guess so. I’m pretty sure he’s cheating but I’ll still watch them, at least it’s entertainment.

Seeing the odds presented. My choice is starting to roll over to the other side.

mathmatical impossibilities still exist
especially multiple in a short span

sure, lets say you have a 1 trillion chance of winning a lottery
you still won’t ever win

Doesn’t matter if it isn’t WR. He still (probably) cheated. That means his PBs were taken down.

Ik he probably cheated, read down. I said it’s not even the world record to show that I didn’t care.

1 in a trillion isn’t a mathematical impossibility, chances aren’t mathematical impossibilities. That isn’t even what mathematical impossibility means, a mathematical impossibility is when there isn’t a solution to something you’d think*(edit) there’d be a solution to such as the value of pi because it’s a transcendental number. If you’re talking about statistical impossibility, it only occurs when actions that can’t occur simultaneously occur and that’s not like getting heads ten times in a row while flipping a coin. A statistical impossibility would be like flipping a coin and landing on both heads and tails at the same time.

Tl;dr: 1 in a trillion isn’t a statistical nor mathematical impossibility.

I think a better word would be implausible.

Sure but that’s not what was said.

I know.

Don’t know much about this situation. I love Dream and his videos (not a stan but he makes good videos) but could he have cheated? Totally. Do I think he did cheat? Yeah, probably. Appariently the odds of him cheating are 6999999999999/7000000000000 (could have added an extra number idk not checking) so I think it’s safe to assume he did. Is it certain? No, but not many things in life are so I am fine with this.

Tl;dr the man’s likely cheated

I find it interesting that the poll says a majority of people think he’s legit, but the comment section is solely filled with people that think he’s a cheater.

Denial. Hard for people to accept an idol caught in the wrong. That or they just didn’t care too much.
