Before on roblox you constantly found games that actual passion had been put into on the front page, the communities were almost always friendly, and there was always a variety of other good games to play between each of their updates.
Now most games have little to no passion put into them, the communities are nearly always godawful, and the few good games or good communities out there takes years for anything to happen with them.
Idk what you’re talking about. The top games have always been Escape the Big Chungus Obby or Magic Wizard Spell Tycoon. Good Roblox games have always been rare.

Roblox fell quite a bit, but honestly it’s not as dramatic as people make it out to be. The community got more toxic and the game itself feels more souless (see: events), but Roblox isn’t or ever was ‘good’, people view older Roblox with nostalgia-tinted glasses. (for context i started playing in the middle of 2017, so not exactly OG but i’ve played for some time)
I played Roblox late 2016 and made my account late 2017 I would say that old Roblox would be good if I discovered it earlier I Was Too Young To Know Roblox At The Time

sure devs can be a bit more greedy than before but theres plenty of fine games out there that no one would bat an eye at if they were made a couple years ago

I do think Roblox’s security got a lot worse. I remember hackers changing skyboxes back in the day but I don’t remember being permabanned for joining a hacked game.

This 1000%, my heyday of playing Roblox was 2009-2012ish and by 2015 I personally thought that it had already fallen off. But as Inferno said that was most likely cause I was already growing up and critical, especially since many feel that the time around 2015 was peak Roblox.
Yeah there probably are many things that Roblox has fallen off in, there’s also some things that it’s really improved in. I mean the games are visually way better than back then and the amount of customization for characters is genuinely insane now. I still remember when the “double hat glitch” was made into a feature and that was the greatest thing ever growing up. But UGC and whatnot would’ve made me pass out from excitement given how much better and more affordable it is compared to what Roblox used to sell.
So kids growing up with Roblox now will probably see these years as peak Roblox and they’ll be having this same discussion 4 years in the future lmao (unless something goes horribly wrong in Roblox that sends them down the drain)
