sometimes its a stretch since character creators are limited, but thats what makes it fun.

I usually look around in the customization screen untill I find something that catches my eye
Then I try to create the rest of the character around that
Sometimes I also make them similar to other characters I made or I base them around a specific idea or theme I have in mind
other than that it depend on the game specifically, in ruina i wear walter’s clothes cause i like the zwei
or i just cosplay
Having an OC is already shameful, those 3 are literally the most painful thing i have ever given though into

my elden ring character had a long neon pink beard and its the best thing ive made
ever since i got this avatar its my get out of jail free card to just get the first afro or vaguely mushroom shaped hair and just roll with it

im black irl so i usually try to make my character look like me. But of course, the options for hair are:
afro
that one dread hairstyle
flat hair
but every other gets so many customization 
Yep its sad I have little to work with but I still wanna have a black character to feel included
