i LITERALLY just showed image proof of vetex saying this oml
this is the biggest win in full release
Self AOE moves could be made to move, crash could be made to work.
just make it lock on atp
500 accuracy, you try to shoot a centurion and accidentally hit a player
GAME IS SAVED YAHOOO!!!
oh fuck nvm he’s adding accuracy
nvm were cooked bro
pvp is dead
AGILITY YAP GOES HERE BRUH
cs
Anyways
WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY MAKE THIS CHANGE IT’S SO ASS
Agility still requires some skill, timing your dodges and stuff. Yeah, it allows people to run, but then again, if gankers can gank, victims should be allowed to run.
And instead we get… This “accuracy”. That is totally not attack size 2.0 and that totally won’t be far worse and ganker’s dream.
Vetex, you had enough drinks, smokes and lines for the night, please let moochezz take over…
(Moochezz if you tell me you suggested this…"
To be honest, I don’t like the idea of an accuracy stat (in the way it’s been described at least). This is a stat that mainly only applies to mages and sounds like it’d be incredibly janky on melee builds.
I can understand removing agility, even as an agility fan myself, but there needs to be a better stat put in place than autoaim on a spell. This sounds more like it’d be a mode type than as an armor stat anyways.
Sounds familiar.
Actually I genuinely forget what this reminds me of.
yeah pretty much lol, jumping me when im exiting dark sea will almost result in me losing
Takes a lot of skill when I have no defence, power or size and have to actually land my tiny attacks
Accuracy adds aim assist. You’ll automatically target people easier.
Ignore everyone else in this thread, for your stamina issues its Invigorating and Energizing buffs from food and if its high enough you can have near infinite stamina, bonus points if your food has Agile to be a bit faster or Recovery to heal quicker. For your energy problems, I’d say use Energy Regen gems but its being reworked anyway so thats up to you. As for people flying around you gotta improve your tracking and predicting skills with projectiles, or use AOE in favourable moments. But don’t focus on Size stat if you want 1 on 1 ganks, size is only good in wars and against multiple people.
Y’all know that one meme of a stock index spiking up and down, with ups being “We’re so back” and downs being “It’s so over?” That’s me right now.
I don’t think Accuracy would be complete garbage on anything that isn’t Mage, though. Might be a bit janky to use on Fighting Styles, but it could probably work. Hell, I’d say they might benefit from Accuracy the most.
i dont normally use food buffs in fights because its unfair but i guess, but now that agility is being removed it wont be much of a problem anymore
Why is everybody acting like accuracy ONLY benefits mage???
Like are we forgetting the significant amounts of Spirit and Weapon moves that are projectiles?
Anyways, as long as Accuracy works both as homing and auto-target it’ll be fine for all classes (auto-target as in moving the player towards enemies if they’re close enough so that melee moves hit the enemy).
because it only works on pfojecgiles and mage has the strongest projectiles
tbh:
Mages main attacks are: Pulsar, Blast, Explosion, and Beam.
Beam and Explosion don’t benefit from this.
Pulsar is way too slow to benefit from this, regardless of how homing works, without any agility, you’re still fast enough to dodge any type of pulsar.
Blast might be the only thing benefiting from this.
The other attacks don’t seem like they’ll be too strong with homing either: surge, snare, and Hasta are likely unable to use Homing; Array will already come with homing; javelin and cannon might be able to use this.
If we assume Homing changes the projectiles turn rate and size, then mage isn’t getting much out of this because you’d need a decent amount of attack speed to make it viable.
Oracle has Homing Aithoro and spirit blast. Spirit hound looks too slow to be viable with Homing. we have some other spirit skills comming, but none of them sound like homing will be too good for them, par Spirit Barrage.
Warrior has a variety of projectiles that fall into a couple categories: Weapon Throws, Flying Slashes, shockwaves, Bullets, and AOE waves.
Weapon throws do stupid damage because of their gravity, but if Homing works on them, then you’ll be hit badly by these.
Flying Slashes will naturally work well with Homing.
Bullets are almost like Beam, too fast to use Homing unless you were missing by a very small margin.
Shockwaves include attacks like Fury of the Sea and Flying Pheonix, FPheonix is too slow, but Fury of the Sea could be a problem.
AOE waves like Tempest could hit pretty hard, each tornado does like 100 damage without any buffs. but its range is awful and its speed is really hard to make good.
we’re forgetting the new skills like Dragon song and Bow Breaker, but those will likely fall into categories similar to their move types.
Strength is found dead in a ditch once again.
