vetex confirmed that morden is not really an empathic person, he actually type of person who doesn’t care much about People, which is state in fort talos that he had no hesitate to harm someone who is in bad side, but he just wish to not harming innocent.
Except after the death curse sorta changed him abit, he just afraid to uses it much
that he might harm his friends and lost controll over it
there’s no way that’s true when considering that he has been traumatised by the death of others in the order’s laboratory.
No sociopath would say “I don’t want to kill…”
Both Iris and Souvella mistook them as a Ravennan spy on their first encounters with them, it’s safe to assume they are from Ravenna

We can infer quite a bit about the main character, actually. From Nimbus Sea QnA:
Does the MC have a canonical first magic? What Savant awakening do they get?
T: I’m not sure if this is a spoiler…Uh, i’m gonna say lightning. Lightning is cool.
V: In lore the main character is the savant build, they would do everything.
T: They have the potential to use everything.
Also, the main character canonically starts with an old dagger, basic combat, and the eagle patrimony, and gains an old flintlock in the storyline. Though a bug, the game rarely does not allow you to name your character and instead gives it the (common placeholder) name John Smith, so it’s as good of a name as any. And lastly, every animation gamepass (except for Cute, which has a female model*) uses this character, which is also not any of Vetex’s characters, so it can be considered to be the ‘canon’ character.
*NPCs will always refer to your character as ‘lad’ and not ‘lass’, confirming them to canonically be male.

I have never once heard this term being used in all my life
Even then, the MC is referred to by they/them pronouns so their gender is ambiguous
