It still works pretty well
2 recover 1 plunder 1 task also works decently well still

nice, so 2 recover 1 plunder 1 fish would be even better now?
was actually ding that earlier today, was mostly losing around 1-3 % on some bars while occasionally recovering, i was basically hovering around 99% for multiple in game days up and down
how the fuck do i get my command ships to be 3 recovering and 1 plundering
Go to fleet commanders on whatever island on and tell at three of them to do jack shit (hit the change fleet task button and hit recover) and scream at one to plunder (ditto but hit plunder)
if i change plunder to some other task, will only my food and supplies decrease?
one last question, are there any tasks that progress Research faster than others?
My theory is that tasks that have higher item collection rate/level up faster also progress research faster, but it’s not something I paid too much attention to while progressing it
Do you know if all tasks have diminishing returns like trading does? If so, I was wondering what would be the most efficient active follower amount to have
I’m at ~230 active followers and 2 recover 1 plunder and 1 trading with the high risk level[1] and I’m getting about 15k per natural fleet fleet log and restocking and repairs take maybe like 1k ish so about 14k profit
I forgot what it’s called ↩︎
rn is also not the best time to test tbh since v1.20.10 isn’t out yet
A bug gives like way less drachmae at higher fleet sizes with trading
I wouldn’t be surprised if they all did but I’ve no idea what the formulas are, I’d still imagine you’d benefit from having more active followers and the diminish moreso just means that they don’t scale linearly for OP rewards
why are they perfectly fine? are they as efficient as brigs? do different ship types even matter, like do ketches and brigs give more rewards from tasks and drachma from trading or is it just durability?? why the hell is this not explained in game like i’m probably just wasting time here sinking only brigs when they’re probably as efficient as a sailboat
Think the only difference is durability & possibly the repair costs
can prob go ketches/brigs for now but start replacing once the follower cap is reached
The only difference is durability (how often you have to repair, the costs stay about the same for each amount of health you’re repairing) and how efficiently you’ll convert inactive followers
unrelated, god damn people were not wrong about the level of inflation the trading buff would cause
I played a while pre-nerf, and I was getting nearly 20k with a barely functioning fleet.
Now I’m getting 2k, but that doesn’t really matter as I’ve upgraded trading to max to get Mystic Scrolls.
I did find a server once that was still on the .10 version, so I farmed two fleet logs there to get 36k~.
huh that’s weird
I was getting 105k with 2 trading and now i’m getting 35k with 2 trading
Barely functioning in my situation was one brig with trading, rest with recover, no brig vice captain ships and at best 5-6 fleet ships, so it was pretty unoptimized.
