Actually it’s all magic energy meaning nothing is corporeal
since you’re able to touch them though they are corporeal
Oh boy, another post to yap on.
how do you think ash magic should be categorised?
Hm, tough one. It’s not quite a gas, it’s more like small burnt particles inside gas. Maybe Powder like snow and sand.
I meant in terms of gameplay
What should the sprawling category of magics that function as niether solids, liquids, or powders be referred to as?
Ash is a weird example, but I’d do it like the WoM wiki and call them all Energy magics.
All magics are energy magics since they are all magic energy
Well, that’s a foolish way to think of it. The solids are magic energy too.
Yeah exactly it’s a stupid name
Well, Plasma is taken.
if Plasma wasn’t taken, I’d call Fire, Explosion, Flare, Aether Etc. Plasma magics, but I’d call things like Light, Shadow, Gravity, Life Etc. Conceptual magics.
just call them plasma magics anyway
i think conceptual works for shadow and life, but light and gravity are actual things
Well, gravity is arguably more conceptual than light. The way I’m describing conceptual magics is ones that aren’t really as measurable in their pure counterparts.
just say abstract bruh
yea
the blasts kinda resemble black holes, which, I find kind of amusing since that’s essentially somewhat related to darkness
Symbol looks sort of like this btw:
it’s not arguably more conceptual gravity doesn’t even have a physical appearance
it’s an entirely manmade concept to describe a phenomenon that happens in the universe, whereas light is visible, technically corporeal (photons are particles too), and also not as difficult to imagine in your head.
Well, I suppose we should just have them all be “energy” then.
oh, shit.
universe update apparently dropped recently: gravity has been reworked and may now technically be corporeal.
Howwww???
You can’t see gravity, it’s just a pull!!!
wait, they’ve actually seen gravitons? i thought they were just a theory up until now
