kinda a dev that actually/will focus mainly on animation/vfx stuff.
Something like what this guy does, his stuff inspires me to do this kind of things
hes mah hero lol

im obviously no “soon-to-be-dev”. i dont know how long it takes the average person to learn how to code efficiently (ofc that depends on scripting language) but it will probably take me a good few years before i could potentially become a roblox dev.
thats not my goal though.
im just trying to find something that i am really passionate for, and coding allows me to put my ideas into place by giving it precise instruction.
i like the satisfaction of having my code work, seeing things do what i tell them to.
i am learning to code so i can express my creativity, not because i want to be a dev.
that doesn’t go without saying that it would be cool and all, but it isn’t my main focus.
nah bro, them are all rb1 accounts
maybe i should start scripting tho
yeah lmao
As much as I like that guy, he’s demonstrated that he’s not very good at hiding himself. I don’t think he has an account on the forum at this point in time.
animation is hard work, but i dont think you need to hire others.
tbh, you just need to practice it a lot.
this isn’t stop motion, and im not the best animator, but the point still stands:
this whole animation took about a week, quality isnt the best but that’s totally okay.
either way my point is, don’t let minor setbacks stop you from achieving what you want to achieve.
also dont call your own work dogshit. gordan ramsay once said something along the lines of “if you don’t like it what makes you think anyone out there will?”
be proud of your hard work ;0
i make assets that ill never use
ive seen that, also i wanna know how u did the magic circles appearing
if you use moon animator like i do, you can add transparency options to different objects. for more info watch this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhFs7hoTZa8&list=PL1EHdrLVzUo8pFtq1trkJD7PfpTTOZ38z&index=11
if you dont feel like watching all of it go to the 1:36 mark.
i created a part, made it transparent, and added a decal to each side and changed the transparency while i animated
im not really a dev but i made animations for a friend who is making a game so idrk
im still tryna get good at animating doe
not a soon to be dev but if anyone wants music for their video games i have relatively cheap commissions ahaha ahaha
(by cheap i mean $30 + $8 per hour of work on each track, it’s so that I dont make less than minimum wage ahahah hahahaha)
not me that’s for sure lmao
anything developer related sounds like a chore to learn. i would love to learn something roblox dev related but they just arent my thing unfortunately
It’s not really a chore but more so a commitment.
If you are committed to learning it you can teach yourself how to code pretty fast, but if you expect to learn without trying you won’t learn at all.
im not gonna commit to something im not too good at
programming was never my thing, and programming anything takes quite a bit. i can’t work well with long-term projects like that.
“Someday, I’ll start learning Lua.” - me 50 times a year
Anyway, I will actually do it at some point, I am just distracted by other stuff :/
LMAO SAME. I told my friend that I’d learn lua to help him with a game he’s making, just haven’t gotten around to it
I’m not so much of a dev
but I can do graphic design and model stuff and it also helped me to focus on my dream Railshooter
i think the entire forum should make their own game for fun.
yes good idea
