Here is an educated guess: 5-15k on average, 15-40k after update drops (Like the game actually releasing, or stuff like new islands).
According to Vetex, we are gonna get a 2 week update schedule, so that should keep the game going while he works on the big updates. And when the big updates do come out, we will have everyone from the discord, plus a lot of people on twitter (the stupid ones), which will ensure a good player count.
Even while updates don’t come out, if there is enough content, people will surely be coming back after they finish stuff like the storyline to see what else they could do.
Also there will definitely be big Roblox youtubers making videos on AO (Flamingo being a prime example), so this will have a heavy impact from the viewers that actually play.

For some reason, the Roblox community piles up onto a game 5 seconds after a content update and leave a week later (tower heroes), so this might bring it to 15k+ average assuming update schedule is followed.
Yes, Flamingo has made a video on WoM in the past. But people who made videos on Arcane Adventures have an either very low or very high chance to play as it is basically AA, boosting it to about 20k-50k average upon video releases.
There is gonna be a chunk of the DW community and similar toxic places which will pile up just to say the game is bad and leave almost 1 second later, so like 15k-50k average if we include those.
Some people who play ET and similar games might have been waiting for AO and have been using them to wait, but since ET is not out yet, it is impossible to calculate.
A big factor is that most just released and got front page games have entire communities taking a detour to a new front page status, so after months of release, it will decline it to like 2k-10k average.
So uh, assuming it gets the special treatment WoM did, and kept it’s consistent schedule, while including other factors, about 15k-50k average player consistency, then 2k-10k average after some months.
It might be big but without the solid updates vetex didn’t give arcane it’ll die down within the same time wom did

Sadly the Roblox community does not care about the time and effort you put in games so it will be buried on the front page by anime simulators/ Obby/ simulators
Probably will average around 2k - 5k players on average after like one or two months considering that around 200-500 people are on WoM per day, so imagine the player count when AO, a game with much more content/ reason to grind will replace it

At maximum and yes, it is very possible, lets say that AO isn’t paid access, which it probably will be paid access, if the right amount of YTers cover it and the Roblox Front page Gods decide to bless it, yes AO can probably max out at that number
For example, at it’s release Deepwoken had around 40k - 60k players or around that mark whilst having paid access
