for real and it wasnât just some random guy with a curse, it was ARTHUR PENDRAGON!!! THE GUY WITH FOUR CURSES, ONE OF WHICH GIVES YOU INFINITE ENERGY 
and vetex has confirmed over and over again that curses are only released from the body AFTER the person dies. heck, earlier in the lore doc durza had to kill the earth curse user in order to absorb his curse. I mean I guess he could have gotten more proficient with the absorption curse to be able to absorb curses without having to kill the person first, but I feel like that wouldâve been mentioned
yeah this is literally something I ASSUMED THEY DID, but nevermind, when you read the lore doc it explicitly says Cursebeard was alive long enough to give a monologue to the PK. MkayâŚ
this is morock syndrome, otherwise known as bad write-off syndrome. Itâs when a strong character somehow forgets who they are and dies to something they could easily have avoided.
I think Cursebeard giving the monologue should just be replaced with a One-Shot pirate commander giving a monologue, and the PK walking into Durza absorbing Cursebeard, reaching basically godhood.
