Ah, alr. He gets A LOT stronger at the end of the manga. I feel like end of anime Yuji is cooked against curse users, but he might be able to blitz some skilled mages. Do u have a specific example of a mage that u consider to be skilled?
Shinjuku Showdown, pre-domain (as there’s no telling how that translates to AO). I’d imagine him to be at second awakening, with Slash + Blood Magic alongside Basic Combat.

At best, he could beat an unskilled curse user with a weak curse, something like a Samerian soldier who picked up the explosion curse like two weeks prior to the fight.

Cursed Energy doesn’t exist in Arcane Odyssey, so there’s no way for his powers to be unless he trained his strength or weapon arts (which we can’t know).

yeah AO top scaling is just cracked compared to JJK lol, most curse users can destroy/damage island(s) and the top dogs can shake the planet
no wonder an apocaplyse happens every few thousands years or so 
we do have spirit energy, which purple/red spirit energy is like nearly identical
He still retains his powers, much like if u put a AO character into the jjk verse they would still retain their powers.
Shake the planet?!?! Which curse users did that? (I didnt play AA so idk that many op curse users other than Durza, Cursebeard, and Prometheus) Btw I dont think most of Sukuna’s attacks can even harm a curse user too.
Using verse equalization to assume CE has properties of magic to damage curse users.
A normal scaled Yuji is very outclassed, he can break buildings likely but he definitely can’t one punch cities(not that he can’t break cities)
The upper top 10 could probably defeat Yuji, Prime Theos and Durza would make light work by their sure hax, energy, and overall ability.
I can see Yuji defeating a majority and even some curse users, he just is quite out classed in range and fire power.
But mostly Yuji could likely get the jump in if he’s lucky, too bad he CANT FLY.

As far as I know, the only person who’s definitely done that is Durza with the Fracture and then his self-destruction that affected the planet enough that the people in the War Seas felt it
weak, magic energy is not cursed energy so he is just a regular human here if not weaker due to no magic energy (unless we do universe equalisation but that still places him on around lvl 100 berserker npc)
