How viable is this strategy?

The strategy:

Let’s say in a team, the other members forced you into a role you don’t like. They chose you to be in that role because they think you’re the skilled for that. You intentionally do bad in your role so people don’t see you as the most skilled and thus, never get that role you don’t like again.

As long as you intentionally doing bad at it doesn’t cause whatever the team is doing to fail if you had otherwise not, go for it. Then repeat it until you can only do the roles you like :nod:

You just described how it feels to play support roles in most games. Nobody does that willingly.

Unless it’s the TF2 Medic. The raw sex appeal of medic is enough to keep you playing.
