A musket, though it has a high reload time, has MUCH greater range than magic, especially rifles.
A typical 4-man squad of Napoleonic Skirmishers with the Baker Rifle can kill someone a thousand meters away in around a second, while it takes magic 20 seconds to reach someone a kilometer away. That is enough for someone to reload a muzzle-loading flintlock rifle. Magic doesn’t have that range, and if you want to charge the ball so that it has a range of a thousand meters, I’d guesstimate it would take you 30 seconds. Meanwhile, the four-man squad of Baker Rifles has shot at least four times at you.
A 9 lb. smoothbore cannon of the time period we are talking about here could decimate silent tower. According to Statics, towers that high need a foundation commensurate to that height, but we do not see it. So one well-placed shot near the bottom of the tower could wipe out an entire wall, and we would have a mass equivalent to the empire state building pressing on thin stone. It would completely bring down the tower, killing off a lot of the magic council in one blow.
Find second absorption curse like a boss.
Meanwhile, peacekeeper arranges an army of magic users and invades.
Go out by myself, try to negotiate a deal or something.
When he doesn’t shut up about ethics, leave the meeting, than absorb the magics of his entire army (all of the magic users).
Even if he tries to kill you, he can’t fucking bring back that many people at once.
No matter what happens, you achieved goal of killing all the magic users.
What do you mean by get? Acquire? Didn’t Durza absorb many curses?
Additionally, if curses can be destroyed, then they can be created too, according to the First Law of Thermodynamics, as long as some excess magic is released in the process as an increase in entropy, as per the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
So I postulate that if curses like the absorption curse of Durza can be destroyed, then they can also be created from Chaos?
Durza absorbed magic not curses. His first actual curse was from an earth curse user. Also they CAN be created. But prometheus died so that’s not possible as he made them
Hm, I think Magic Users would be viewed as dangers to society and actively be imprisoned for the risk they pose to safety. I mean a level 90 magic user can go around destroying towns.
Prometheus died to arthur. Arthur got defeated by durza. durza got defeated by the peacekeeper. And the peacekeeper is destroying curses. So he should be able to make them but he doesn’t
Just use baseless accusations against them so people stop supporting them. And if they try to assert dominance, accuse them of trying to restrict freedom. : D
What if there is a revolution and let’s say half the populace revolts? The peacekeeper would want to act in the interests of the PEOPLE and so he would have no other choice?
