prob should’ve avoided the bait yeah
I expect people that complain about something being extremely unfair to be able to use that when dealing with something apparently unfair like a dev magic
if people argue about agility and agile potions being so broken, then why not use it in this case? Maybe it isn’t actually that broken?
Are you implying that they just switch to an Agility set while getting hit by the equivalent of the Little Boy nuke
or am i just misinterpreting everything
Ok I get what you’re trying to do here but lets not distract from dev spec bounty hunting.
bro shut the fuck up are you really that bitter about the agility situation
you don’t understand i must use this completely unrelated post to further my views
yeah there’s gotta be some kind of rule about this
i would ping a game mod but i don’t know any on the forums
it says waping is a game mod on vetcord so try him ig
i’m not in vetcord
he’s on the forums too goofball
I simply say that getting so annoyed over being bounty hunted by a custom magic is invalid, and relate it to how the complaints about agility is invalid, and now you lot want moderator action. What the fuck?
ok
@Waping
yo i think there should be a rule against mods using op custom magics in renown and infamy related ganking
it quite literally is mod abuse
i hope you guys won’t reply to baby’s first attempt at bait anymore
ur my idol
this person was the victim, the issue with agility is how gankers use it on victim, it’s bad just like people using unbeatable devspecs to bounty hunt doofus
i missed that rip, maybe im the true baby ![]()
I guess I am too…
Damn thats very unfair and quite abusive.
But have you considered that it was also very funny to watch it happen
this is my personal opinion on the matter
Custom exist to deter people from hunting devs.
However, giving customs to devs who are both in high infamy clans (based off their presence in a clan server) and who have decent bounties is a poor decision. After all, they’re already making themselves a good target, dev or not. Being a dev only makes it greater, and with customs they’ll win almost every fight they get in. This will inevitably get to their head, and they’ll begin to hunt players as well. Players who will not be able to win, no matter how hard they try.
I suspected something like this would eventually happen with customs, given they’re more powerful than ancients will ever be. From what I’ve heard, it happened to AR. I’m happy to see it get exposed before Full Release, hopefully they’ll be removed alongside the addition of the PvP toggle. After all, they don’t need customs if they can toggle PvP.
This is extremely unprofessional behavior from both Astralworks and Xxael, assuming the fight was started by them. If it wasn’t, they simply defended themselves. However the issue of taking the bounty poster implies it was started by them or they grabbed it mid-fight, in which case they’re not innocent here. I believe that they aren’t innocent, and should be punished for this blatant abuse of power.
I expect no punishment to come to them, sadly. In my experience, devs are generally above the game rules and can act how they wish unless a higher dev punishes them.
