If you cant bc “low video quality” just watch the original clip (which I hope you did, because you’re the one providing them for us)

Hey, I think theres a thread about that. hold on let me find it
actually i have already made two threads about how much i hate mods
Sounds in character, yeah
but they unlisted one of them because it’s 1984…
in my superior and ultimate opinion this doesn’t matter very much
This truly is 1987 (I’ve never read the book in my life)
This is a poor response and only worsens my personal view of them.
First off, while not entirely related to the even that sparked this, three developers in one clan? Who all just so happen to have obscenely unfair magics? That certainly doesn’t affect anything regarding the view of the clan. In my opinion, devs shouldn’t be in clans. It only increases the amount they are targeted and can put a bad taste in other’s mouths. It also adds a bias towards the clan and the clan’s interests.
Secondly, the self defense clause shouldn’t be self imposed. Self Defense is the only acceptable use case for a dev spec such as this which shouldn’t exist in my opinion. Another use of a slur from a dev as well, not a great look (yes, it’s technically a slur).
After watching the new clips, I can say without a doubt that either the customs need to go or devs should be strictly forbidden from being in a clan. From my perspective (even without every person’s PoV) it seems to me as though Ravencrest started the battle. I wouldn’t expect this behavior from someone picked by Vetex.
I find no self defense justification, as while the original clip doesn’t include the full initial engagement, the only ships seen sunk are those belonging to Maxwell’s clan.
I cannot trust the word of anyone regarding this, instead I’m focusing on the clips provided. Least of all can I trust the word of Xxael, given that they’re the problem here. Accounts are conflicting, so I shouldn’t use them to back up my claims.
Both the cause of the conflict and who started it are technically unknown to me as initial ship combat isn’t clipped, however I can infer that it was started by a member of Ravencrest, perhaps Astralworks. If Maxwell’s group started it, why would two of their ships be sunk and the third only arriving later as backup? Any decent group in ship combat would coordinate their attacks, leading me to believe that it was started by Ravencrest. I am not too well versed in PvP (I have 5 PKs total), so there’s a decent chance I’m incorrect in this.
While I cannot read the minds of people through clips, I can make (potentially incorrect) assumptions. Having previously been attacked by Ravencrest, seeing two ships bearing their logo led them to believe they were still being hunted. Thus, they wanted to get a hit in before the next fight began.
I may be completely incorrect in this, do not base your assumptions off my own. Make your own.
As I previously stated, not much will likely come of this. Customs will likely continue to exist even with the PvP toggle, Devs will persist in clans, things like this will continue to happen, and nothing will be done against it. The only person who can is Vetex, and I’m unsure if he’d care about this.
something something holy yap.
Bro, THEY pulled up to shell. Ravencreast was ALREADY there when they arrived
Shit, didn’t notice that. My argument is now invalid, carry on.
This clip shows them pulling to shell and the starting the fight. Xxael even killed them 1 or 2 times and they werent even arrested, which is just another proof that they werent being hunted at all
who cares i hate mods
remember when this game wasn’t filled with nepotism and terrible design choices
yea me neither ngl
Can… you elaborate on that?
