you probably went full power set with gold, and set a gold pillar to 20% and charged it fully

a shadow 20% blast does ~300 damage when fully charged when you have 3 powerful items, so they probably have a magic like earth, iron, or gold with a few powerful
With 110 power, a fully charged 20% self pillar does 555, but with frozen you can do 1054 in a single hit from gold with the same build. So you are a bit off from the most dmg
