Why is tier 4+ defensive structures only damagable by siege weapons?

why Vetex? why? Okay, i get it players’ attacks are supposed to be too weak against it counterpoint: canon fist if my canon fist has higher ship dps than a bronze howitser, then it can tear down a wall edit: im not asking for a canon fist meta but im asking for canon fist to be able to damage tier 4+ defensive structures (i dont care how little damage, i just want it to happen) now that i think about it if this happens then people might start asking for other stuff like metal/explosion mag…
