Abel
Comes from a family of respected Plasma mages from the Thorne Empire, having small amounts of curse energy in their blood (the Plasma curse to be exact, Abel’s great grandfather was a wielder of the plasma curse before he was Assassinated by Cardinal Adam the Cursebane, a powerful Assassin and a Grand fire Curse (scorch) user who hunts other curse users), this causes his family to be exceptionally potent plasma mages, Abel is also the person who goes through the main story (obviously with slight variations, i guess this technically makes this an AU), being kidnapped by the Order (in this version because of the curse energy in his blood) and getting Amnesia, he does not remember his life before the events of AO but occassionaly fragments surface, after the events of Cirrus he got a position in the grand navy and worked as a Marine for a short while before eventually leaving, becoming a Privateer instead.
Knapp
An associate of the Assassin Syndicate, while technically not a member she often uses their bases and does contracts and overtime became an unofficial member of the syndicate, being part of the Assassin circle led by Architect Merlot, she is his unofficial pupil, she has developed a rivaly with Abel, albeit it’s purely one sided.
Abbie
Comes from the same family as Abel, being his older sister, she wasn’t born a plasma mage but a metal mage, saying that she was hated would be an overstatement but she was definetly seen as lesser, she lived a fairly peaceful life but always desired adventure, when Abel dissapeared she saw it as an opportunity to leave her home and search for him, of course she gravely understimated just how far she from home she will be and was stranded in the dark sea for a while, luckily managed to find her way back into the war seas, however her ship was ruined and she didn’t have money for repairs, she was forced to steal from the locals at Shell island and was found by Navy Capitan George and taken into navy custody at Silverhold, where she met Knapp who was recantly sentenced to death, she ended up being wrapped up into her escape and the following Silverhold raid by the Assassin syndicate which ended in the death of Grand navy Commander Sylvia White, Major William, Major Agres, Lieutentant Pebbles, Lieutentant Warrick and multiple Capitans, Vice Capitans and Marines, drastically raising her bounty from 1200 for petty thievery to 80000 for ties to the Assassin Syndicate and 5 counts of assisting in murder of grand navy officers, she was essentialy dragged into criminal life, she joined the Assassin Syndicate for protection from the Grand Navy, while she isn’t one to be particularly phased by death she certainly did not enjoy Assassin work, eventually she managed to become a Sponsor and used her new connections to find Abel.

Oh ok, was really worried your oc was the ‘main character’ of ao for a sec (it’s not necessarily a bad thing it’s just that that makes it iffy when tryna ‘integrate’ different ocs with eachother in a what-if scenario)
