you know what’s hilarious, is that someone tried this with me and it failed horribly. All I had to do was spawn my ship and use it to catch up to them every time they dash, and continue aggressively spamming all my projectiles until they die.

But im the one agressively spamming all my projectiles.

Flintlock and Dual Flintlock isnt very good, better to go GS for anti projectiles, key’s point still stands and GS will hopefully nullify those issues.

build stat goals: 60 power, 600 defense, 40 agil, some speed maybe
recommendation:
powerful cernyx amulet, powerful arcsphere, hard carina/calvus accessory
nimble cernyx chest, nimble cernyx boots

Im actually planning hard elius gear + hard fair defense amulet, giving 68 agility 66 power 619 defence if my calculations arent wrong, but I dont know what the final accessory slot would be (for defence stats). Maybe hard arcsphere?

Also I like your weapon list but I need GS for some form of defence against counter projectiles (the main form of counterplay against my build would be to outrange me) and stormcaller is going to be really good for long range bombardments on ships whilst getting the freezing effect on them, forcing them either jump ship and be frozen for a free piercing shot or not leave and take the full brunt of storm of arrows (which does quite alot of dmg if all shots hit.) Your build is prob good for a sane player who wants to play competetively, but I want to play in the most niche way physically possible and elius scims dont really help (cultist staff was tempting for more mobility but I decided against it.) thx anyway

also stormcaller sucks ass for range storm of arrows goes like nowhere

trust me tho or at least test it out, this is basically the same build i run but i use lightning
its a faster than ice tho so i can hit long ranged shots easier but i am the mobility demon

oh I think you missunderstand, my build is based around making ice platforms to manuver around the SEA. I use ranged attacks to hit people from the sea with stormcaller and bronze musket. Then I use GS to block projectiles that come back in my direction. Like I said, its a really good build (I would know, I ran warrior with scims pre 1.12) but I personally have a unique idea for this build that has never been used before.

if u gonna be running around they can hit you with projectiles anyways since theres no solid ground so you would do best imo by highjumping, pierilcing gale/shot, then dashing and making a new platform
