It might actually be certain governments that are majorly forcing Roblox to do this. Granted, none of this would’ve happened if Roblox didn’t ban Shlep, all of this is Roblox’s fault. However, certain governments such as in Indonesia (correct me if I’m wrong) are requiring age verification.
They say they delete it immediately. In reality, the facial identification company, Persona, is known for selling information to third parties, including to governments, which can keep a profile on you for years, with or without cause.
You may unironically lose massive amounts of safety and security from doing this. Please whatever you do, do not give Roblox your face.
