Hmm, I feel like Vitality hyrbids might actually not need too much nerfing. Because theres actually a reduction on your overall power output when putting points in Vitality, which is kinda non-existent in other builds.
Which makes me wonder how powerful Spirit imbue actually is to compensate for that… it sounds like you’ll basically rely on the imbue and Spirit Weapon only a lot more on other builds

They had to stop for a moment because AO is brainrot and putting effort into deliberating on it longer then necessary causes physical harm, which was how Vetex got the inspiration to add the Drawback stat.

I’m gonna tackle this more, because we DO actually know a lot about them now! Spirit weapons are different than magic. In fact, you can literally say that Fighting Styles and weapons are, canonically, just different applications of magic. Spirit Energy is not even in the same classification.
In the beginning, there existed only two primordial forces. Chaos, existing as the same being from greek myth, is the force behind all things magic. All magic descends from Chaos. Yet Chaos lives up to its name, unpredictable, a force of destruction.
So it has an equal, a force on the other side of the aisle: Creation. Creation is responsible for ‘Spirit Energy’. The energy behind life itself. Only the gods can naturally harness this power. However, to their most devoted followers they would bless random objects. These objects granted their wielder the ability to manipulate the very essence of their own life: Spirit Weapons, is what they would come to be called.
Far as we know, the reason Spirit Weapon users are SO rare is because of three factors:
First, the gods of Olympus are dead. God is dead, and WE did kill him. So no more gods are making spirit weapons. That, coupled with Durzas GIGA nuke, means there is a VERY limited amount of Spirit Weapons left in the world.
Second, using spirit energy kills you. There actually used to be a form of casting magic that revolved around using the soul, Spirit Casting (Look out Paladins), which was replaced by magic circles. Because of this, most people are adverse to learning it.
Finally, Spirit Weapons are exceptionally hard to learn. I mean the stars have to align REALLY well for you. You gotta find a rare weapon, then basically smash your skull against a brick wall until you are ‘built different’ enough to literally shoot beams of energy that melt peoples souls.
Lots more to cover about spirit weapons, but another thing to keep in mind, confirmed by Pristine on the forums here: Any ‘awakening’ for Spirit Weapons that is ‘Gives flat damage reduction’ is temporary. All Spirit weapons WILL have spirit imbue, and you WILL be able to imbue “Spirit Energy” into your magic as a paladin.

Oh uhh, they are basically like weapons with preset skills but the ‘skills’ are a lot closer to magical abilities. An example Vet gave in discord was summoning swords over your shoulders and sending them crashing down upon your enemy I believe.
