Yeah I realized that. I made this because I was checking to see if my OC who’s a conjurer and a sea curse user fits within the lore (aside from having a completely made up curse).

whatever things curses make are a lot more permanent than regular magics
for example: trigno’s magma is still perfectly fine when we find Verdies’ ship flung up on the sky island, which has probably been there for at least a few days, there was also an entire arena created by the former metal curse user which survived for quite some time after they died, whatever is going on with the whirlwind at cassia town, and there are still clouds left on skycliff island even after beringer dies

The lore doc ITSELF states that curses are pure magic, not anything else. They are made of pure magic, the only exceptions to this are experimental curses. So you are putting up vetex’s word and the official lore document against an old techlevel statement
Also, vetex has disproved what techlevel said in the second part of that image as well in a more recent screenshot (read the 5th line), which decreases the validity of what techlevel said as well

Tech says “basically 2 water curses exist” when asked about tide and water but vetex says that the tide curse IS the water curse. They are not separate
