Albeit that Wary’s actions resulting in their ban are unacceptable and should definitely warrant the given punishment, I don’t think making a thread which is going to lead to them being harassed regardless of any notices you put in the OP is the way to go. I don’t know about you guys, but if I meet someone like this, I’d rather take a step forward to change them and make them realise what’s wrong with their actions in hopes they become a better person, this thread is doing anything but that.
Following Wary’s ban from the Miraheze server for racism (which for reference, was a racist comment which they made in conversation with me), I decided to go out and talk to them for an insight into what they think about their actions. I’m not going to delve into any specifics of our conversation, but they are aware about their aggressive nature on the platform, and do want to change it.
I made this comment on the anon thread a couple days before I talked to Wary, and I think this applies to the people involved in arguments with them too. You guys don’t mix well with how Wary is, which sparks constant dispute between all of you, regardless of whether one party may have the more aggressive person.
It also seems a fair share of people in the thread forgot this in the OP, see below.
To conclude, I’m not defending them nor attempting to oppose them, and I do think the forum suspension has some very valid reasoning behind it, but some people in this thread seriously back up my claim that the forums are filled with people who exist purely to insult others.
