…FINE, I’ve been meaning to write an Abyss Sea piece for a while anyway.
(all jokes aside I can’t rn but I’m going to knock something together tmrw)
Unless there is a valid in-universe reasoning behind the infection, those stories will be nothing more than edgy, nihilistic slop
I will say Abyss Sea was inspired by me seeing the MLP AUs first
It reminded me of old creepypastas and I thought it’d be cool to see something like that be made for a community I was in
So however cringy or edgy they are they still hold a special place in my heart for being so creative and widespread, like some kind of modern urban legend added onto by many people

If i did not have writers block i would be continuing some of my own stuff on it
I consider it as any possible mutation is possible, however the fish ones are the most common simply due to the fact that basically 90% of the world is water, making fish mutations the most beneficial to actually continuing their life as opposed to other mutations which just make them beefy yet unable to properly traverse for food across the water, making the other non-aquatic mutations rare or only for some of the freshly mutated

The zombies in PvZ, as far as I can tell, are more like resurrected undead rather than once healthy humans turned zombie, though I could be wrong.
