You can’t be any older than nine.
Censoring the word doesn’t change the fact that it’s an instult
Mind curse: can read minds, communicate through telepathy, possess others, mind control people with less “will power” etc.
The way to combat this is to constantly play never gonna give you up in your mind so you Rick roll anyone who tried to read your mind
I have a few experimental curse ideas;
Manifest Curse: Allows the user to create tangible constructs (barriers, weapons, other objects, etc.) using energy.
Clone Curse: Allows the user to create perfect copies of themself and other people weaker or as strong as the user.
Power Curse: Allows the user to indefinetly supercharge the strength of themselves, another person, or an object with the only limitation being energy.
Somnium Curse: Allows the user to create a space within which they can manipulate as if it were a lucid dream.
Space curse: grants ability to manipulate space, warping, bending, teleportation, conjuring “matter” and antimatter in their numerous forms.
Reminds me, there’s the whole of the Forum Curses Curse Vault which could be applied to this topic.
Oneself Curse - You are all of you.
(Experimental)
Properties
- Greater Self - You are your every selves, but they are only a part of you.
- Gain access to all of your selves without giving them access to you.
- Distribution of Self - Everything that you are is also them.
- Transfer anything that is you to another self.
Invent A Sea Curse! Forum Curses Edition
Here’s a few curses which have appeared across Forum Curses which I thought were neat.
Memory Curse
I planted this hoping that the players would use it but they never considered it oh well
Salt Curse
Belongs to good guys only
Teslaforge Curse
Lightning but metal.
Mundane Luck
It sort of had a mind of its own but basically
- Makes others really lucky and the user unlucky
- Unless the user is in grave danger, in which case the effects switch
The Imagination Curse
The power to manipulate ideas at your hand…
This was definitely too strong and I think sock would agree.
The Enchantment Curse
Actually this one would be pretty cool to see.
Roulette Curse
OPDND gone wrong
GLITCH CURSE
Power increases exponentially by percentage while gain decreases.
Allows the user to break the rules of the universe and bend it to their will.
Reach the top and the only way is down.
Theodore can go jump off of the cliffside of suffering
Arc Warden, is that you?
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Cat Curse
You get actual cat ears and tail but every single cat in existence is trying to get you and you must run
You have to run for the rest of time since when you have a curse you are immortal to old age
Stup*d Idi.*t spelled it wrong
hell
Regression Curse: Pass down all your future power, experience and knowledge to a past version of yourself. How far you regress back the river of time depends on your current power and has a chance to self-detonate yourself if you are too weak or it has been used too frequently.
boring korean manhwa trope number a BILLION!!!
or peak chinese novel RI
Stealth Curse - User can become invisible and completely untraceable by visuals at will. They can also turn objects or other people invisible temporarily. They cannot hide their own spells; using Magic Circles to attack someone with this Curse would be a fun way to mess with them, though.
This Curse’s user would still be able to sense their invisible attacks (such as weapon throws or gun shots).
The main weakness of this curse is that the user will still make sounds while invisible, so they would still have to put some effort in to use the Curse to its full potential.
Illusion Curse
An experimental curse that allows you to create tangible illusions of yourself and attacks that make the targets see things that are not there (basically insanity)
Also if you have enough skill you can keep some of your sanity if you become an atlantean due to you being used to illusory effects
Gravity Curse
Type: Elemental
Description: Allows the user to perform similar feats of a gravity magic user, but to a much higher degree. Unlike traditional elemental curses where the user ‘phases’ into their element, the gravity curse instead repels any non-magic attacks with double the force of the attack.
got a few so bear with me chat
Hex Curse (Experimental): The user can apply a “Hex” on a person. During the next 24 hours, all attacks from this user will auto-aim toward the “Hexed” person. Higher-skilled users can Hex several people at once.
Mirage Curse (Experimental): The user can create “Mirages”, allowing them to summon forth vestiges of powerful foes, or towering buildings, depending on their choice.
Phobia (Experimental): Similar to the Mirage Curse, Phobia allows the user to create visions of their worst nightmare. Sometimes, these visions can kill the victim!
Companion Curse (Experimental): Similar to the Mirage Curse, Companion Curse allows the user to create a companion, typically of whom they had cared for the most. This companion is at the same level of strength as its user.
Calamity Curse (Experimental): The user can manipulate natural disasters, though to a weaker point compared to their elemental variant. (e.g., Calamity can only create 5-6 Magnitude Earthquakes, whilst the Earth Curse can create 8-9)
Everfrost Curse (Elemental): The user can create deep purple chunks of ice, that take years for even a single portion to melt if only using Fire.
Moltensteel Curse (Elemental): The user can create and manipulate searing hot orange metal.
Dark Alloy Curse (Elemental): The toughest of all Metal-related Curses, the user can create and manipulate black metal that is nigh unbreakable without the use of a Lost or Ancient Magic.
Rift Curse (Elemental): The user can create and manipulate spaces between, allowing them to completely bypass all forms of defense. This also allows for them to seemingly warp between two places, yet will require a good amount of mastery to do so.
Plague Curse (Elemental): The user can create and manipulate a fog of dark green. Those who accidentally touch said fog are afflicted with the user’s choice of Plague, whether it be the Bubonic Plague or the Black Death.
