Is Deepwoken fun?

95% of my time playing Deepwoken was miserable, and the only fun I’ve had was right after it released and some occasional moments.

The only things that were good about Deepwoken was the base combat mechanics (for ROBLOX standards), and the monster PvE. However pretty much everything else you can come up with is objectively shit or bullshit.

I like the game’s combat concepts and music, it’s especially good quality for a Roblox game and (considering games in general) quite cheap for a game in general.

Although the permadeath is quite frustrating, particularly when you lose a high-power character, it’s bound to the fundamental structure of the game, particularly seen with The Depths.

I find the game generally good but insanely hard in terms of combat due to parrying. I think I’ve only wiped two characters in over 10 hours of gameplay (small, I know), so permadeath only adds intensity when I get a tainted life. The main thing about it is the combat, you have to be dedicated to learning timings and everything part of their combat to survive. (Be wary about level 60s saying ez when they grip your power one character but not salty. This game has a lot of assholes, and you have to get used to not trusting strangers).

So, I find it a good game, just difficult to play.

no its not good

ur also forgetting that they’re making adept into base exp and likely tossing it out, along w/ trial of one most likely since it loses it’s meaning w/ the new lvl cap potentially.

this is also excluding the new deepbound flaw we got now ontop of juiced depths xp than the overworld and regular grinding if ur like me and not want to risk wiping in the depths to corrupted mobs ganging on you depending on skill lvl.

normally i always go to hive after getting my glider and money for training gear. but now w/ merit being a lot more better to farm and being more juiced i can just run it, go to summer for the gear after getting my glider or vice versa.

also lives isn’t an issue just avoid stuff the best u can and just dab enforcer rq and u’ll go right back

Thats actually kinda average for how much people wipe.
Take it from me, i have 300 hours on the game, and have wiped 156 times.

Nah, personally single player perma-death games are extremely fun. Multiplayer perma-death is always going to be frustrating when played alone, I figure.
