for legal reasons the relentless mocking should be taken as a joke

Now ain’t this a loaded question.
While I can still find beauty in the aesthetics of IRL individuals, If I had to choose between their aesthetic or the aesthetic of Japanese style animated individuals. I would favor the latter.
Why?
Well, as they’re the product of art and thus not limited by the limitations of the natural world in which we exist; they have the potential to be prettier and tend to be, in my humble opinion.
( made a necro edit due to bad wording. )
( I specified that they had the potential to be prettier, instead of them being prettier by default )
don’t forget the illusion that japanese art illustrations are pretty by design and by no means should be compared to real and struggling humans, and said illustrations should by no means raise your standards for what’s pretty
this gives me vibes of this video
(slight content warning, video discusses pedos n shit as you can tell by the title lol)
good advice tho, alv
i feel like my posting this video is gonna go make this thread go off topic but too late now
I respect your thought, however, it is my belief that no one will ever be able to replicate natural beauty. One’s art represents their perspective on beauty itself, meaning it’s subjective. It’s made to fit the standards of one group of people imo making it only fit into the eys of those who find art of similar nature attractive. however, both art and beauty are both subjective, making no one piece of art (whether drawn or not) conclusively beautiful in the eyes of all, even if a large amount can agree upon it’s greatness. (typing this while doing squat pulses, sorry if it doesn’t sound right)
i will recreate natural beauty with blender one day…
and then get arrested by the police for too good technology
well i wish you the best of luck with that
I disagree. Beauty is beauty and as such being exposed to greater beauty, should raise one’s standards.
But I do agree that it shouldn’t raise one’s expectations of IRL individuals to the point of absurdity.
We seem to have had a slight misunderstanding here.
I wholeheartedly agree that beauty is subjective, I just happen to lean in favor of products of the human mind. Thus it being my opinion.
holy shit go outside wtf
