Is Shura just that goated?

Shura katana weapon when

Yes its slow but its better than running out in the streets shooting random people until the local Stronger Variation Of A Guard™️Kills you because you are a puny poison mage who so far only trained for a few months purely to poison the water supply.

I think I’m going a bit too far off topic so I will just put this in simpler terms,

Is Shura just goated and is some kind of a prodigy or,

Can an average poison mage ruin hydration for an entire town within weeks of work if they were sneaky enough?

AO team seas

Also to any Shura haters out there saying that we beat him as a hobo,

Our Player is an damn anomaly, you’re telling me this man aged from 18-19 and within that timeframe he went from beating random Jaw Pirates to killing the king of a “Powerful empire”
(If you believe defeating King Bumvus is an achievement of course) and his strongest soldier. And if you count the Empire update (No idea if ts is canon or not but we still kill them) we defeat a Rear Admiral and an Assassin architect.

The player is an insane prodigy whom I will not count towards Shura L’s

The player does not count!!!1!!

when he comes back later in the story to try to thrash us trust

Oh yeah technically one more thing i have to say

If Shura The Goated Ronin is somehow able return later in the story as a sideboss/miniboss or hell maybe even an another forced encounter of him just wanting to try you again,

That would mean he somehow, unimaginably, no idea how - was able to match the insane power progression the Player has, therefore he is Goated. I rest my case if that happens :folded_hands:

Brotha it doesn’t take a genius to know when to shoot someone with a gun :broken_heart: :wilted_flower: any bloke with a flintlock could probably mess Shura up

I think that if I dumped a barrel of strong acid into the water supply of a city with thousands or even millions of citizens, the water would get contaminated quite thoroughly

Now if you have a guy constantly learning how to use his magical acid powers (which we don’t even know what the acid is but it’s definitely a strong one), and with attacks that constantly drip into the ocean surrounding a small island community with a few hundred(?) residents, that would 100% decimate the water supply

It’s safe to say that humans having magic was a mistake, and Shura is not some godlike prodigy but rather just a environmental terrorist :wilted_flower:

This implies that an average guy can just aim a blicky at him without him instantaneously teleporting behind them to slime them. :sob:
If you are talking about a stealth kill then I’m sorry but if you have to use a stealth kill to downgrade a character then you are actually just lazy,

(I consider the average person to be like a marine, a rookie pirate, random npcs that you talk to in towns. Silas is like above average)

Lowkey twin the worst part of that message is that you probably are right

instead I will cope with a second reason to why Shura is actually goated…

So Shura does state that we will see him one day much stronger, possibly a Second Encounter
Now this might mean something but i’ll mention a thing real quick.
Silas has gotten this strong in the story due to how often he had to face opponents at an equal level (Or stronger level) as him (Probably).
It’s implied that Silas did also train somewhere in the: Frostmill to Cirrus Island section and meditating/pre-awakening section of the game, just we don’t actually do that as a player because that would be a little boring perhaps (Vetex loves his immersion features so he might force us to do that with an update)
Overall a well deserved power boost.

Second thing, to be considered a “Boss” enemy in this game you have to somehow compare to (Or be stronger than) Silas/The Player… unless it’s a joke boss...[Vetex wouldn’t turn Shura into a joke boss would he? I hope he won’t :folded_hands:…]

With all that said, if a second encounter will occur (Vetex also loves his Pay-off set ups that he does often so there are good odds), that would mean my Goat has somehow caught up with the insane power boosts and various activities Silas did,

this would honestly make me love Shura even more due to the mere reason that he would be like a true rival to us, considering that when we first met him he also just discovered his powers and is but a beginner! This also is interesting because you would be curious about his activities that he did to match your rapid growth, total win scenario.

Also it would serve as a sign that My Goat is not washed

My best guess for if/how Shura will return is maybe as a side quest similar to the fire mage and bored centurion at Ravenna, where they kind of offer you a friendly fight to test their skills, maybe we can even see them pull up numerous times across different seas Ruby Roger style.

I doubt he’d be a major story boss again at all, since we’d have no reason to fight him as a major obstacle again (as of now, atleast)

Shura is the best

But not as good as kubapinduca

“Instantly” my guy he has like an entire second worth of wind up Shura ain’t sneaking up on shit :sob:

Not to mention how all of his attacks have him stand in place like a Dess in Asgore’s headlights before unleashing them, giving people tons of time to get out of the way

and he doesnt even use acid blast he just releases a fart cloud :sob:

I feel like everybody is forgetting said water supply is the ocean.

Acid isn’t a bizarre chemical like Oil where it just sits and covers everything. Acid exists in the water thoroughly, as many sea creatures have digestive systems— and again, AO is massively shrunk down, Shura was far away, he had no real way to hit redwake.

He had somehow produced enough acid to cause notable corrosion wood, and be noticeable harmful to oceanic creatures. Again, this is like the 1500’s, they’d have no way of knowing PH causing population explosions, his Acid was likely injuring creatures and objects.

It takes quite a bit of solution to move the PH of a fluid, like a pool still takes a good amount of stuff to modify its PH. to do that to an ENTIRE REGIONAL OCEAN, is pretty insane for one guy just practicing, even if he did shoot it into the water deliberately…

Especially when you realize magic doesn’t even stay stable that long; he was actively putting out enough Acid to affect the Ph to where it looked permanent. We don’t know how long magic produce stays stable, but its definitely no where close to even a week- maybe not even a day. The active duration practically makes him either a Curse user, or some other God Blood user; or really damn good capacity for somebody who just awakened magic.
