They’re not, its just minorly inconvenient and I’d like to circumvent the entire problem with some needlessly high warding armor

I did also manage to figure something out that has some better defense without losing out on the other stats, would’ve been better if I had the sunken warrior helmet but I’m not gonna hold out hope on getting that

you know you can put atlantean on all your NON VIRTUOUS theurgist pieces and still be fine with 4 insanity and 5 warding while in Dark sea

defense kinda… isnt important in the dark sea as long as you use invisibility potions and as long as you have like 10 lifebloom and 2 jellyfish flesh
if ur really that concerned u can also just use armor as vanity even tho it looks bad

but invisibility potions are hard to get

they aren’t. do some diving and get jade pearls. you only need invisibility 1 brews to fool atlanteans

They aren’t hard if ur looking for tier 1-3 its just its kinda boring to go underwater to get them

having vanity armor equipped protects you from limb loss. when your armor breaks after a lightning strike you can just unequip and reequip it after and youre effectively immune to limb loss in the dark sea
