I have a metal/water paladina and I run defense + size on it, while I barely do 180 damage per blast my explosions are munera sized.
Imo, dont focus ln power has a paladin because of the power scaling thing, instead fo all in on defense

Super heated
shush they’re running paladin they aint doing serious pvp anyways
this actually worked quite well. I was fighting a paladin (he attacked me first) with a regeneration staller build and I had him low several times because of shockwaves and beams but eventually he had enough and stopped fighting me
Oh hey, i’m an earth/light paladin too! Whats up bro!?
So as a paladin(and any vit build), you can get away with alot of things with your stats cuz of the added hp from vitality.
So get more atk speed and atk size to start with,
100 speed and 200 size is a good starting point to get a feel for (only for earth and light, other magics may very).
100 power and nothing less. Reduced dmg from your vit is such a bummer so if you wanna kill, get more POWER.
500 defence. Again, you can get away with alot with vit.
So now you got:
100 POWER
500 DEFENCE
100 ATK SPEED
200 ATK SIZE
But how about agility? Its optional.
Yeah thats right, optional
Why?
You don’t need it if your atk size is gonna hit all the time most of the time.
How about the other stats? We got:
Regeneration
Resistance
Armor piercing
Also optional so its totally up to your playstyle
Regeneration - for passive playstyles and to counter drawback from vatrachos if you are using it.
Resistance - do you know how to block? Good, you are now more tanky with resistance.
Resistance also takes effect while casting spells/techs/skills.
Armor piercing - nah
No like really, its mostly useful against tanky players and blocks but you’re prolly too slow to use it aggressively.
Even if you have 200 atk speed, its better to just play passively and attack when they’re a sitting duck.
Soooo yeah here is my advice on paladin from a paladin.
Yap yap yap
Was it a meral water paladin? Then it was prob me
Adding on to this, vitality doesnt penalise intensity so thereotically you could run a size intensity dot build and have the same damage efficieny as regular builds, untill intensity gets reworked anyways.
Nah, they had ice, I dont remember other magic but it wasnt metal or water
Earth and light have next to no DOT. Bleeding only happens when earth does 33% of your health. Sounds like it could be good on a metal paladin or something though
