According to energy bar colors and arcanium items, Light is not white, but light as a whole can be considered colorless or “bright” as a representation, which is why it looks white here.
I’d think of it like Death magic, which is black with teal accents.
Due to Light’s properties, I’d say it’s yellow/purple with a powerful white glow (remember Lunar magic - Dark blue water that has a white glow). Tuning down this brightness wouldn’t make the magic look like a representation of Light, would it? It’d just be a weird, solid-light yellow/purple energy, which is why the “white” is here…
