Not really, we barely see any high level mages like Theos in AA’s story
The technology behind sky skates is just ejecting clouds to propel you, this is pretty obviously replicable with just using your own magic to propel you
If he was the only person to learn it, why would it be a lost magic in AO, the scrolls had to have been written by someone in the war seas.
Also we haven’t even fought many named and powerful humans with magic in AA. Literally just Verdies, Theos, and arguably sage, everyone else had a curse. Marua literally just had a staff if you’re gonna bring him up.

Kraken can also walk on water and is the only human mage we’ve seen do so, does this mean you need specially shadow magic to walk on water??

PK was literally taught by Theos, it makes sense for him to be able to mutate to Pheonix

You’re making a show of yourself now, a game mechanic like that doesn’t always have to translate into the lore. And now that you say that I actually remember that every magic user has the ability to hover in the air by pressing Q, does this mean that every magic user has the hover spell??

The arcane odyssey player when seen using a q spell is quite evidently hovering? This means hover spell is not required to hover lore wise
When did Durza fly?
There’s plenty more powerful magic humans in AA than Marua so idk why you would bring them up

The 2 AG npcs that could be fought at the arcane government bases in 1st and 2nd sea, the wind bandit leader in 3rd sea, the light guard captain in alalea, averill and I’m sure i missed one or 2
