Island's Population Chances In Magic

Considering temperature has been implemented in Arcane Odyssey, I feel like the population of the islands would also have more chance of having the same magic useful in countering the island’s temperature. Think of it as people with the magic that can counter the weather tend to stay longer in the island which eventually makes that island have more of those people with the same magic.

Don’t misunderstand though, this feature will be only on islands that has harsh temperatures like snow island or desert island. Also, this doesn’t mean that the island will only have those select few of magic, it just means there’s a higher population of said magic, so pretty much you’ll have a high chance of fighting hostile NPCs with those.

Here’s the chance rate of people having the same magic in the island:
Cold

  • 65% Fire
  • 40% Plasma
  • 35% Magma
  • 20% Explosion

Hot

  • 70% Water
  • 55% Ice
  • 40% Snow
  • 35% Wind

idk, cool idea but just doesn’t fit. and besides we don’t know if people will use magic on islands - it’s probably possible but not confirmed yet

Well the War Seas is pretty much advanced than the Seven Seas where there’s even mutated magic already so pretty much it’s the same as WoM where almost everyone there has magic.

It also fits since there’s no way people would stay for a long time in harsh temperature when their body can’t adapt to it unless they have a sure way to stay alive in it like having fire magic in snowy islands.

War Seas isn’t more advanced. Mutations ofc would already be found, and not everybody in WoM has magic. I would explain why more if you want.

And ONE magic circle/blast wouldn’t affect the entire climate. You’re suggesting that everybody on the island uses magic when that isn’t even the case and never will be.

Uhhhh you’re forgetting that vetex is making it so that charging can affect your body’s temperature.

Anyways, tech/vetex said that the War Seas is more advanced which explains why they already have all the mutated magic like explosion etc.

Aren’t dynamic npcs being removed or is this for the certain zones with enemies?

Oh I didn’t mean the town NPCs, I meant the hostile ones since vetex said that hostile NPCs will still have AI in them. Considering there’s hostile NPCs in islands in Arcane Adventures, there’s no saying that there won’t be hostile NPCs in islands in Arcane Odyssey.

…savaria bandits never used magic, and only sea pirates used magic if i’m pretty sure. i never said there wouldn’t be hostile NPCs either

So pretty much just like in WoM, almost everyone has magic ( Not saying everybody has magic, just almost. ).
