I think the “guards” may be 90, that sounds right.
Some ideas:
perhaps he targets frozen islands considering that they drop arctic crystals, considering they give a good amount of galleons.
perhaps there is some bug involved?
that’s really it, there isn’t a lot of data.
I feel like a few things should be considered, though:
-luck pots
-some overlooked game mechanic when it comes to charts (but what could this be)
-some part of the Halloween event? (I’ve never done it, so I don’t know anything about it)
-one of the quests related to finding charts
You’re probably right on the money with arctic crystals if I had to guess.
Only problem is that Frostmill sucks for charts, Makrinaos only has a little patch, and Whitesummit is the only alright one.

By the way, that update was a dern lie. I don’t get a single chart from merlot, and he’s at least 2x my current level.

what if he gets 5 star notoriety and then lures the navy ships to the assassin hideout to get help from kalliste? you could break his window and have him drop to the sea
not possible. Looking at his stats, he has ZERO npc kill increase. We need to rule out everything to do with rivals and npcs, although having 0 kills over 4 hours is weird
He opened around 3000 chests in this period. That’s 750 chests per hour. How does he get so many??
what if he had already farmed all the treasure charts before the first capture, and then spent 4 hours completing all the charts
