Lazy AO tierlist

swap A and S and you’re nearly spot on

:slightly_smiling_face:
Good.

as a light mage, i can relate, but why the ACTUAL FUCK IS STONE, WOOD AND IRON ON B, I’TS LITERALY THE MAGE META, FUCK YOU, FUCKING DIE LOSER

I thought poison was like worse acid tho

it literally has the best dot in the game (in terms of damage ofc) fym worse acid??

Well, like, its impact damage kinda sucks…

And the arcanium isnt amazing either

Acid has good DoT but it also has basically good everything else

running decent power and/or being a conjurer change this imo

same could be said for a lot of magics

I guess but like idk ive always been told acid is just strictly better

And this is coming from a guy who picked poison as their first magic on day 1 of AO (and still has the file)

Also wind kind of screws over poison while acid isnt necessarily doomed if it can’t corrode which is pretty important to consider

wind does screw over poison however:
-conjurers/warlocks can unimbue
-mages can switch to first/second magic
-savants can do their savant thing idk
(imbuement classes are left with an even more powerful asset in terms of base damage)
basically if a poison user is fighting a wind user they can just switch their kit a bit idk

this mf is operating off some wild fucking data, ive only ever seen one water magic user ever :sob:

-average speed

-1.25 size

-clears literally all DoTs besides bleed and poisoned

-good damage

-bleed bonus

-cold synergies to make frozen

-paralysis potential w/ lightning

Then they will not gain such advantage In fighting. They’ll restrict their own specific bonuses at this point. That is the real problem.

Finally, Wind has been put in a tier that reflects its glorious capabilities

snow shadow and wind all A
any DOT magic (besides bleed) instantly A
all bleed magics at least B crystal on par with ash
light A tier below lightning
sand a tier below wind

lightning is mid ngl but not bad that’s why it’s A tier

you forgot about wind’s cracked substats (and imbue knockback it’s getting next update)

im not talking about how good wind is, im talking about how if a poison user is fighting a wind user they can switch their kit around to compensate

Yes but then the poison user has to rely on their small weapon or magic stat only and that’s not good for them

Also if it’s a plasma poison mage, wind already counters one of the magics, leaving mage to use their second magic which also isn’t good for them
