Yes… the EVIL ALIENS are sending EVIL SPACE EMOTION RAYS to my GOOD DEMOCRATIC BRAIN with their EVIL SPACE LAZERS… All hail Super Earth! Destroy the Illuminate!

Btw, another question I have about my YouTube videos: how many times do I mutter incomprehensible nonsense which I never bother to explain? I’m talking about stuff that I say in response to stuff that’s only in my head. How much of that is present in my YT videos and how much worse does it make my videos?

Mostly by you defending and ranting a point I mentioned because you took something that’s common courtesy and decency as a personal insult.

Religious people do not have a right to preach when someone is struggling, it’s pretty simple - and you saying it’s only Christianity doing that is pretty arrogant because everyone is capable of arrogance and idiocy.

@WaryRGMCA , you’ve gotta stop seeing people bringing up points against your argument as a personal attack on you. When people (rightfully) point out that your argument about who abuses religion to be inaccurate to their experiences, they’re not saying “Wary, you’re a religious person and thus you abuse people”, they’re saying “I’ve had experiences or seen examples of non-Christians doing so”.

I was seven. I was in Boston with my dad and I saw a homeless person. When I asked why he was homeless, my dad said he was probably hungry and slipped and had an accident that brought him to his current state. I asked why he doesn’t just get a home again - my dad said it costs too much, since he has to eat and support himself besides that now.

And that was it. Seeing someone who needed help and knowing the government, EVERYONE could help, but did nothing? That’s what made me a socialist. Because I didn’t want to sit by as people starved or sat out in the cold.

We live in an era where we can 3D print protein, where solar energy and wind turbines are a major power source. I do not care if some people lose money. I care if people live.

Every religion is mythology by nature - it just takes time to get there.

That’s what faith is. The belief in something against fact. It’s hope. I may not follow it, you may not, but it is faith, and you can believe it down to every letter. That is someone’s right.

This is one of the major reasons I’m an atheist. What God is all loving, is kind and all knowing, when I’ve experienced things that torment me every single second? I’ve been literally tortured - as in strapped to someone and had my skin PEELED OFF OF MY BODY by someone who was meant to LOVE me. And if God is real, then that God is evil. God cannot be all knowing and all kind. Not when I’ve suffered as I have.

I intend to play HEMA, which is… aggressive, so, to me, no. If one enjoys winning more than the overall experience, maybe? But I just like the fun.

So you jumped the gun on me because I said something fair to anyone who could possibly say something like that, nice.

Once again, this is insane to say. Suffering may be part of a plan, but it certainly wasn’t a part of mine. To look at someone who went through trauma and tragedy and say it was part of a plan? That is just… it is stupid.

Okay does punctuation not exist to you? Do you refuse to utilize anything that is not a number or letter? Not to mention, Wattpad is the one some writers use to get discovered - and it has worked. Rarely, but it has. You can find good writing on it, though it is rare. So, for the love of fuck, stop saying smug and weird shit like this - it’s degrading to the people on Wattpad who aren’t children.

yeah thats my grandma too, my nana is 84 and is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. She prays for everyone, bakes for everyone, and was a nurse. Sweet woman.

not to be dismissive or critical but curious, why do you blog (both simply and deeply) on the ao forum? is there a certain tie to the game or community you have? and why the forum format in particular? for instance, i worry you may regret oversharing something too deeply personal on a social interface such that it is publicly accessible on demand (a forum, compared to something like a group chat or an otherwise invite-only social network), but i suppose that depends on how you value and view that sort of privacy—i don’t talk about personal things online out of privacy, but perhaps you value having what happened to be known, for varying reasons?
sorry if this pries too much, i can delete if you prefer, but i am curious (granted, this feels like one of those things i regret posting when i wake up and lay new eyes lol, possible i end up deleting anyway)

the community. The game’s only fun when I play with my pookie @sock . trust me, I avoid oversharing, I avoid using names, I don’t imply where I live beyond EST, and I merely say “I’ve experienced bad shit” and I avoid going in depth. And I do so because it’s a platform for me to give advice, and when I blog here, I usually do so with the goal of mentioning something important, saying something I feel someone should take to heart.

but, it’s just kind to help out the forums the most I can. So I blog here so I can give advice on my experiences.

To go further on the point with this edit - I go broad with what I’ve experienced because someone can relate that way. Someone who’s been hurt, abused, traumatized, can look at what I’m saying, and though the specifics may be different, someone who knows that pain can feel understood. To know that someone who’s struggled with that type of thing has gotten better, is in a better place - it’s the entire reason for this topic. To let people see it gets better. There are bumps, yeah, but it gets better, and you can smile and laugh again.

i wanna say that this is not the case. religion and mythology are separate things and the distinction needs to be clear. just because in the abrahamic faiths the mythology usually = the religion doesn’t mean this is universal. zeus is not a bearded man sitting on a mountain in a himation throwing lightning bolts. zeus is lightning itself he is hospitality. demeter isn’t a woman with blonde hair. she’s the fields of various grown food. she’s the spirit of the food on a table. she is a mother’s love for her daughter. hermes isn’t some twink with sandals running around but he’s speed itself he’s travel he’s in every merchant and he is luck itself along with tyche and so on. basically what i’m trying to say is that the mythological concepts of the gods are not the actual gods (i’m mostly talking from how it is in Helpol idk what it’s like in other religions and if this is only the case for helpol that’s cool but it’s not every religion). mythology was created by man to humanize the gods and write cool and interesting stories about them and teach about the world. that’s why it’s fine that they’re not portrayed the best because ancient greeks and most people understand that the mythological gods are far removed from what the gods actually are and are basically just fantasy characters but even then the myths do hold some merit.
