oh yeah and you also have to go to the academy for sailors before you can access this questline and ace all of the tests (which include game knowledge and trivia that get increasingly more difficult)
if you don’t get a perfect score the NPC will not spawn and you have to redo the academy

AND you also have to take off your shoes before you fight the boss (you will be prompted to take them off, this literally does nothing it’s just there)
on an unrelated note, I know this is getting far fetched, but what if there was a “habitable” island in the dark sea, populated by humans who have had their bodies mutated over generations of living in the dark sea, turning them into strange creatures that seem to semi resemble their element that their born with?
they’re still human-ish biologically they just seem to have elemental being like physical appearances
