I was born 4 months early. An accident too. I didn’t breathe for the first moments of my existence, I didn’t develop my nerves all the way in my hands and arms, and I never have. I have a tremor as a result, can’t feel correctly in my hands - my immune system gets hit a lot harder, and I can never smoke because of a lung cancer genome I have as well.
I didn’t want to exist. My parents never wanted me, they still don’t, but I exist. I don’t enjoy existing most of the time, but I’m still happy I exist. If you’ve seen my advice thread, you’ve seen hints of what I’ve experienced. By my family alone, I’ve been stabbed, beaten, assaulted, traumatized to the point that most would deem I should have a reasonable crashout.
Despite all that, I’m grateful to be here. Despite my parents making sure I know how little I matter, I’m happy to exist and love my friends, I’d be long dead one way or another if it wasn’t for @sock . I’m evidence that sometimes, people can survive from the roughest places. Would I change my life within a heartbeat? Yes. But I can’t, so I take what’s been given to me and use it so I can teach the people around me that things get better - that humanity can grow and we can learn more than the hatred we are around.
I’m not trying to convince you - but I ask you to see the good in the world, to enjoy life.

I kind of disagree at the same time as agree, I mean there’s loads of wonderful people on Earth but we only see the bad sides the internet chokes down our brains
on the flip side if too many people are giving birth then population density could spike by a shit ton which is just as bad as an aging population
overall, the earth would’ve been better off without us
I’ve seen a bit of the advice thread but not that, and in all honesty I couldn’t admire your indomitable spirit or your family more, what they went through was an utter disgrace by trash and waste, and I believe there is good, I’m just naturally a synic but I believe, even if it doesn’t look like it and your story is living proof of somebody who has withstood the world against them, I really appreciate your contribution and respect you massively.

There’s truth to that and I believe that, however are lot of our views are filtered through a large network of imagery and lies but truth, I believe some humans are a parasite, (not being that) but the thing is I know there’s potential for good and that’s worth the struggle sometimes
