we’re in a tangent about morality
no I mean what are they talking about rn lol
Yours wasn’t in the first 10 posts. If you read too much of the thread in one sitting probably you won’t remember what everyone said and your first comments didn’t definitively show which side you were on either. Honestly, looking back at the first 10 posts I don’t think it was more necessary to understanding the ongoing discussion as what had been argued about more recently which we know they read
I meant allowing that someone could’ve changed their position even if the basis for it isn’t known yet
do it yourself :(
#15 and same logic still applies
Later on became much more definitive
Allowing isn’t the same as assuming
1 is logical, the other isn’t
bro i leave for an hour and there’s already 60 posts what is happening ;-;
I know the struggle :allah:
The first few arguments were actually pretty fun
then vetex called me r*tarded and said the whole thing was stupid :(
Vetex moment
I still love him >w< (simply a heated gamer moment)
Forumer moment
Yes but my other points still apply too
I don’t know why you keep saying he would’ve had to have assumed you changed your position. You said that since you said magic was good for humanity earlier, he should’ve thought that you weren’t arguing against it now. Simply allowing that you didn’t necessarily have the same stance as before allows him to not interpret it as you thought he should’ve
Yes
No, that’s what an assumption is, you look to confirm what you allow to be possible. He didn’t look for any confirmation and made an assumption. I’m disengaging because I’d rather not talk to a wall.(Not ad-hominem, common metaphor)
Forums are bad for humanity
