now that it’s been a year, do you have any plans for an “early access” anytime soon?
i want to have a public beta release in mid-late feburary, but based on the game’s current progress that might not be possible.
theres a lot of cool features that i want to add, but i think for beta all there will be are the first 10 magics, 4-5 maps, one or two world/random events, and a few side things like partying and safezone camping prevention.
Gamer robot may be ass at developing good games nowadays but I gotta admit they knew how to handle forced PvP surprisingly well compared to other devs nowadays

that’s the ebg safe zone, the issue with it is that you could go into it at all time, meaning people who would get low would just run into it constantly.
Just implement combat tags and disable them if they’re active

Rather unfortunate, I’m assuming it takes much longer than what it would be like for AO because you have to make unique skills for every spell?

announcement from my discord:
thanksgiving break ends for me tmrw, then its a 3 week race for finals and winter break. due to studying and stuff development will probably go a little slower, but i will do my best to complete the rest of the unfinished base systems to get ready for open beta (partying, safe zone camping prevention/combat tag, warping/fusing, achievements/badges, remainder of the ui and settings, statistics, tutorial)
i will also slowly be adding other magics but mainly will focus on the systems
if you have friends who you think will enjoy playing, now is a good time to have them join the server (im still giving out tester to anyone who asks btw )
i will also be making more youtube videos on the game, mainly magic showcases and possibly some ‘teaser’ animations. be sure to share those too!
anyways its december now this year certainly went by quickly and i hope everyone has a great rest of the year
