when u first fight calvus ur like super under leveled and not even awakened yet. when u fight maria all u have to do is move to the upper dock on her tentacle move and in cqc shes pretty free.
Maria would be fine as a boss if she wasn’t invincible the entire fight
One time she popped invincibility four whole times before I even got her to half health.

i don’t like the way she’s designed necessarily ig. she shares the title of worst arena with elius and cernyx, and her tentacle attack is impossible to dodge unless you jump on top of the ship
she’s not hard, and she isn’t the worst boss ever made, but i still dislike her
Calvus doesn’t have immortality moments.
The most annoying thing he does is the pillar spell.

maria’s fight sucks in the sense that it is annoying as shit
shes complete fodder but the i frames make her such a slog to defeat bruhhhh
if i had 100 galleons for every time maria respawned while i was fighting her because of the iframes i would have enough to buy full sw

maria is unfun, calvus is challenging, and argos is properly fair

Also she dodges more often than calvus which is worse for aim users
