May I interest you in an Arcane Odyssey planetary view?

tbh if you played arcane Odyssey and actually read and payed attention to the dialogue (which I haven’t). I think there was a dialogue that said Calvus sailed from Ravenna to Palo Town. I’m not gonna compare player-travel speeds since at this point player got some inaccurate lore-stuff going on with their speeds

If we were to say Calvus was taking a pretty good ship, I’d say the brig would be a good example. At best the brig would be going around 9 miles per hour and there are over 24 hours in a day.

Over the span of those two days of sailing he at best traveled an overwhelming 412 miles from Ravenna to Palo town which is pretty much California to Seattle half-way and that’s pretty much from one side of bronze to the other side of bronze.

Imagine all that added up into a sea-cluster, it would not be all ocean and magius I think is like equal to the size of America and canada Idk I usually thought it was the size of America

If it was tat small then I wouldn’t imagine how humanity would be living if everything was that compacted and close together, I’d imagine if that wasn’t the case then the earth would probably be the culprit of being the size of Jupiter but everybody prolly gonna die from gravity

I’m not saying it’s like, teeny tiny, like Hawaii sized, I’m thinking like, size of Mexico or United States.

How large do you think the planet in AU is!?

Earth Sized.

Everybody would’ve been dead by then if tat tiny islands are Mexico/America :sob:

Why?

Im pretty sure the size of the planet also reflects how gravity works, being much stronger than it’s suppose to be and how oceans work

If the earth was that big then I’m pretty sure everybody would probably become monsterous beings just so they could adapt to the earth like its invicible in tat one comic-episode or they all gonna die instead but curse users gonna have a field day

Also I think the world is actually smaller (slightly) than our earth mainly because of Durza’s ultimate attack or all vetex said was that it changed how the rotation of the earth worked which caused out-rage drama somehow

I like to think in reality, the Dark Sea’s Epicenter is way farther away because let’s be honest. As much of a slog it is to get to the Far Reaches, it’s all scaled down for gameplay.

Shit gonna take months if epicenter takes like one whole hour to find

if you reaching ravenna to Palo town in 1 minute and scale tat to like 1hr and something minutes to in-game time
I wouldn’t imagine how long calvus would take to reach the epicenter
You’ll be seeing thousands of miles worth of travel

You might be seeing 10,000+ hours of straight travelling just to find it with addition of the rough seas (epicenter pretty much on otherside of the world or something idk I ain’t doing the math for this)

Well Mount Olympus’ ruins are in the War Seas, so is Mount Othrys. Both are located in Europe, and the Seven Seas are supposed to be on the opposite side of the world to the War Seas

yet the only surviving god we’ve seen on earth is in the seven seas, and the 2 corpses of the rulers of olympus, Prometheus and Zeus were also in the Seven Seas

Needs to be more cloudier

in my opinion, due to the fact we can move so quickly and easily, the Earth in AO must logically be smaller to make the gravity lower so the locations would take up a larger portion of the Earth’s landmass

wait why is magius there

probably because it’s all the known locations in the arcane universe

Wow, almost as if, get this, a chunk of earth was blasted into space!

But it’s a planetary view of arcane odyssey not the au

this is no longer canon, but its neat to think that if AA had never been destroyed, this would’ve been the map of earth:

Why is… the first second and third seas so small?

Probably more densely populated, + it is a pretty minor location

This is why I love old arcane lore so much, its so archaic

I much prefer the Open Seas to the Dark Seas, since it was full of strong mfs, along with curses like the long-retconned void-curse

Open Sea supremacy…
