Short answer:

Long answer:
I’d rather draw works for a group of passionate people that want to code an entire wiki from the ground up. I get artistic freedom at Miraheze and I feel like I can bring a part of my own passion into the project. The same doesn’t go for the fandom wiki. I don’t care if they got better this and that, I decided to join the Miraheze wiki purely because it seemed like it was a passion project and I was up for a challenge

Ads on the fandom are so overbearing and annoying, mirahazee has none of that and is generally just a better platform in general

nah but it’s rather that I feel like as the “artist guy” for this project I get to pretty much decide everything myself

I didn’t try to draw anything for fandom but because it’s a bigger community with more exposure I feel like I’d be more hesitant to draw something sick because it needs to appeal to an audience

Honestly fandom is the biggest price of dog shit ever. Nearly every single game or whatever uses it even tho it absolutely sucks. I was trying to read the fallout 4 wiki once and I was being bombarded with so many ads I could even read the text :sob::sob:

Fandom crashes on my phone. Almost unusable because it’s trying to load so much random stuff not on the wiki. (Ads, weird background video that’s playing, ect)

I hate that random background video that appears at the top of my screen every single time I go on it. Like bro I don’t want to watch skibidi toilet sigma simulator: honest trailers while I’m trying to look something up :sob::sob::sob:
