A kind of magical crystal that’s given to you in the Bronze Sea when you defeat King Calvus (or some other point in the story. Maybe after Elius?). This crystal lets you despawn your ship, no matter where it is. Because it’s magical, its signal can be distorted by magic pollution, so you can’t use it while you’re in the Dark Sea.

good idea, but in the suggestion rules it says “no suggestions related to despawning ships”

No suggestions related to despawning ships

This suggestion is technically not “A despawn button for ships.” but I’m pretty sure there’s a reason why allowing players to despawn ship manually without dying isn’t allowed.

My guess is that this has to do with making players value their ship a lot more. Because being able to despawn ship anywhere would make it so players do not care about where they park their ship or its safety, or something like that.

Make sure to consult declined suggestions list first before posting any suggestion please.

its something vetex didnt want as players would just despawn their ship whenever they arent actively using it and avoid all danger

Said danger has about 0 gameplay value and does nothing but annoy people, empower assholes, and provide no failsafe when ships glitch.

Less of that, please.

Fuck having to put effort into playing the game now I guess? Most of your points are subjective at best, so don’t state it as if it’s factual.

You can say the same thing about having to travel by ship, let’s just make every ship 10,000% faster because the danger of having to spend time on the sea has about 0 gameplay value and does nothing but annoy people, empower assholes, and provide no failsafe when ships glitch.

Well, having a failsafe in case your ship gets sent to the stratosphere and disappears would be nice to have I guess?

sure but regardless the suggestion isnt going anywhere if vetex already denied it

Suggestion is in the declined suggestion list, sorry
